Kitchen design for Ms D of Nottingham NG5

The Project

Before we could start installing the kitchen, we carried out a small amount of building work around the chimney breast and removed some angled boxing.

Existing kitchen was removed and the new electrics were put in place ready for new appliances and cabinet lighting.

Plasterer’s did a great job on skimming the ceiling and walls to leave a seam free finish!

Customer chose 18mm handmade cabinets in Lancaster Oak and Mornington shaker style doors in Partridge Grey, all finished off with cast iron effect handles. The same materials were used to create the chimney mantle feature.

Some cabinets were left open to provide space for all their books, to show off their wares, some of the cabinets had glazed doors and internal lights.

Behind the doors we incorporated a LeMans so that every inch of corner space could be utilised.  We created some extra storage space under the sink for all those cleaning products.

The tall units reveal a lovely larder for all those baking and cooking items!

The kitchen look was finished off with a beautiful Corian worktop in platinum, matching upstands, windowsill, sink  and feature dining area.

The customer design their own splash back behind the range cooker using Colibri black and white tiles with the yellow gloss tile to outline the area#eyecatching

The floor was finished in Traccia blanco tiles, a 3 tile pattern was used.

The cloakroom was completed at the same time as the kitchen. Work  included a new WC, basin, tap and LED mirror. The new units in White Gladstone oak finish were used to create open book storage.

The floor tiles followed through from the kitchen and half wall tiling (customers own) finished off the overall look.
