Mr and Mrs W, Nottingham NG2

The Brief

Mr and Mrs W wanted to update their kitchen, create more space for their treasured belongings and  return it back to the hub of the home.

The Project

Once the old kitchen fittings had been removed, plasterer’s made good the walls and the electricians created the necessary power points for the appliances, we could begin creating their wonderful kitchen.

The customers chose solid handmade cabinets in Lancaster oak, matched with shaker style Broadoak doors in Hartforth blue. The wine rack, tray space and much needed book shelf were created using the same matching colours and materials.

To store all of their kitchen items, behind the doors you can see a Kessebohmer tandem larder, Le Mans corner solution and plate peg board to organise their lovely china.

We all have to deal with our kitchen waste, in this kitchen, the bins are integrated into one of the units. At the far end of the kitchen, we created a utility cupboard to store away those items we don’t necessarily want on display!

The beautiful Colonial white granite worktop has a matching upstand, window sill and splashback. Cut outs were made for the Black Anthracite granite sink and Siemens hob.

Other appliances included  Bosch oven, combination oven and warming drawer. A plinth heater was fitted earlier in the installation, keeps your toes warm!

The project was finished off with Cavalio Grey Ash vinyl plank flooring.

Check out the before photo and hopefully you’ll agree the new kitchen fills the brief and looks fabulous!
