Mr & Mrs M

The Brief

Mr & Mrs M from Sherwood, Nottingham. Lived in a 5 bedroom house which only had 1 main family bathroom. They wanted to fit in an en suite bathroom but couldn’t work out how to do it. Having had Haydn Interiors install their new kitchen and main bathroom 2 years earlier, they asked us to see if we could work out how to install an en suite too, as they were so pleased with the service and design previously received.

The Project

We took 3 feet off one of the double bedrooms and knocked through from an adjoining bedroom to create a spacious en suite, whilst still retaining 5 bedrooms. We also managed to fit in a Cream Shaker  Style double wardrobe in each of the bedrooms, so that storage was maximised and guests had a place to put their belongings.

The en suite was designed to incorporate a large Identiti 2 shower enclosure with sliding doors with a patented Clean & Clear Easy Clean Glass Treatment, which offers the following benefits: Creates a ‘non-stick’ surface, resists lime scale build-up and water spots, easier to clean and keep clean, maintains the pristine appearance for longer and hinders bacteria growth for a more hygienic environment. In the Enclosure we fitted Nuance wall panelling in a dramatic Black Quartz finish, offering the clients an easy clean surface on the shower walls. This was teamed with a matching Black Quartz worktop, which really complimented the bespoke slimline basin unit in a White Gloss finish.

Full wall tiling with a simple Bumpy White Ceramic and Black Mirror Glass Mosaic, along with towel radiator, shaver point and a mirror with integrated lighting and demister pad, added the final touches to this contemporary stylish en suite project.

The all important extra’s – Removal and installation of new walls and doorways as necessary, recessed ceiling lights, full plastering, relocate electrical sockets and new extractor fan.
