Mrs K, Nottingham NG3

The Brief

Mr and Mrs K wanted to update their kitchen with something a bit jazzier. They are keen preserve makers, so needed plenty of storage for their jam jars!

Their kitchen is the heart of their home and well used – it needed to pass the Grandchildren test!

The Project

Before the installation of the kitchen, we removed a chimney breast, fully plastered the walls and ceiling and installed new electrics for the appliances and lighting. We brought the floor up to one level to run new Kardean, vinyl flooring in wood effect, through the kitchen, garden room, utility and hallway.

There were limited layout options but the design makes  space with introducing some curves in the design and bold colours.

The kitchen units are Fresco Beige, the curve design adding interest and extra storage as they are infilled to the ceiling. The Blue Pearl granite and bespoke painted glass splash back inject a splash of colour.

Mr and Mrs Kay chose Dedietrich for their cooking appliances and Bosch for their integrated appliances.

The Franke LAX160 undermounted 1.5 stainless steel sink and Olympus tap finish the kitchen off well.

I’m sure you’s agree how lovely the whole kitchen-living area looks now – Take a peak at the before pictures :)
