Mrs S of Nottingham NG14

The Brief

Mrs S had some substantial building work done, space was created for her ideal kitchen!

Wanting a light kitchen to help reflect the natural light from the window. There was also an area created for utility space, this needed to match the kitchen.

The Project

After removing any remaining cabinets, electrical and plumbing supplies were disconnected and the half wall tiling and lino floor was removed . Preparation done!

Electricians worked on fitting LED ceiling lights, under cabinet lighting and new sockets. Our plasterer’s ensured all walls and the ceiling had a smooth finish.

Mrs S chose a handleless lacquered gloss Remo door in Alabaster, the finish really does reflect the light in the room.

Cabinets were scribed to the ceiling to make use of the space available, the curve base unit really adding a little something to the over all look of the kitchen.

The tall oven housing incorporates a Neff slide and hide oven, this matches the Neff touch control induction hob and a book shelf was created in the unit which houses the fridge freezer.

The moulded sink and Linear flair mixer tap sit beautifully on the Corian Sage Brush worktop, complete with matching upstand for that seamless, unseen, joints.

The utility area was finished ion the same style as the kitchen but in a matt finish and a matching laminate worktop. Two  double storage units were created, both with adjustable shelving. A single wall unit and corner sink unit completed the storage area’s.

A stainless steel bowl and chrome mixer tap finished off the area.

The kitchen area, utility and cloakroom were finished off with Cavalio Scottish slate vinyl tiles and grout strips to give that continuity throughout!
