New kitchen designed and installed in Nottingham for Mrs O, NG5
Mrs O wanted to update her kitchen and make better use of her space…here’s what we did!
Before any installing could begin, the old kitchen was removed along with the flooring and the old wall coverings. Walls were plastered and the electricians worked their magic and refaced power points, prepared for under cabinet lighting and installed LED recessed ceiling lights. As the customer was having new, more powerful appliances, the relevant sockets were installed too.
The handmade cabinets were manufactured in Lancaster oak and the doors and drawer fronts chosen by the customer are a slab Porter door in Matt Porcelain, the doors and drawers are soft close.
As you can see from the photo’s, a LeMans corner solution was used to make the best of an awkward space.
The worktop is 40 mm Duropal Quartz Stone laminate worktop which really does complete the overall, clean line look of the kitchen. The splashback, upstand and window sill were finished in the same material to keep the continuity.
Appliances included a Neff Slide and hide oven installed just below a Prima induction hob and matching extractor. Smeg was chosen for the freestanding fridge freezer and washing machine.
Mrs O wanted to replace the kitchen floor and opted for Cavalio Metalstone Grey luxury vinyl tiles and Peal grout strips.
This was a really lovely kitchen project to work on and we hope you like the result!
