New kitchen installed in Nottingham for Mr and Mrs J, NG5

 The Project

Before starting on installing the kitchen, we undertook some building work for Mr and Mrs J. This included removing french doors, removing a step, bricking up a door and fitting the new French doors. The under the stairs area was opened up and a new doorway created along with enlarging the kitchen entrance. Old flooring was removed and plastering took place! Phew!

New electrics were installed to ensure all the correct power was available for the new appliances, under cabinet lighting, recessed ceiling lights and new sockets.

The customer’s chose handmade cabinets in Porcelain to match the BioGraphy Porter porcelain doors. Reclaimed oak doors were used one side of the kitchen to create a feature. So as not to distract from the lovely BioGraphy style, stainless steel profile trim handles were used.

Behind those doors you will find extra wide pan drawers, tandem pull out solution with non-slip base and a tall housing containing the integrated fridge freezer.

We used the same reclaimed oak to create a lovely open bookshelf !

The worksurface was finished with Duropal Dover quartz 20mm worktop, the splashback behind the cooker is white toughened glass. The rest of the splashback around the kitchen was finished with Biselado tiles from East Midlands ceramics.

And last but not least…the floor was finished with Cavalio vinyl tiles in white metalstone and grey grout strips.

Hope you like the finished result!
